Terms of Agreement
By purchasing the 4 Week Half Share CSA (Fall Edition) you agree to the following terms:
I commit to membership in the Root + Sprout CSA Program for the 2026 fall harvest season for 4 weeks. As a member of the CSA, I will receive a weekly share of produce for 4 weeks. The shares will vary by size and weight depending on the time of the season. One aspect of CSA is that members support their farmer by sharing in the inherent risks of agriculture (poor weather, drought, disease, early frost, crop failure and so on) and rewards (the bounty from a good season.) We purposely plan for such contingencies, and use growing techniques that protect the harvest, minimize risk to members and optimize the rewards: growing a wide variety of crops that thrive in different types of conditions, cover cropping, crop rotation, and irrigation. Moreover, the CSA builds relationships of trust between the farmer and community group. On the whole, members will get a wide variety of vegetables in plentiful amounts. Therefore I agree that while Root + Sprout will act in good faith to provide fresh spray-free produce for the duration of the season, there is no guarantee of quantities or contents of weekly shares.
The share price is $15.00 per week, which equals $60.00 for the fall season.
Each week's CSA box will typically contain three to four items, enough to feed one to two people, depending on how serious they are about vegetables.
If you're going out of town or will be otherwise unable to pick up your share, please notify us no later than the Saturday before the pick-up.
If you miss a pick-up (without scheduling a vacation hold beforehand), then the box is forfeited and we will donate your box to a family in need. 
You have the ability to purchase extra vegetables each week from our online market, depending on what's available from the farm.
The farm reserves the right to cancel a membership at any time for any reason. In such a case, the member will receive a pro-rated refund for the remaining weeks of unclaimed produce. Payments, refunds and cancellations requests for refunds by a member prior to the first day of the CSA harvest season will be issued a full refund less a $15.00 administrative processing fee.
