Delicata Squash
- Also known as “sweet potato squash” for its brown sugar flavor, delicata tastes like a cross between fresh corn and pumpkin pie.
- We love this squash because it's a quick addition to dinner! You don't have to peel this squash as the skin is tender unlike a spaghetti squash. Our favorite way to eat it is to cover it lightly in olive oil, sprinkle some salt and pepper then roast it in the oven until the outside is slightly brown and crispy.
- These squash are roughly 6-8 inches in length and weigh about 1.5 pounds.
